Fishing starts with breakfast at 7:00 A.M. for guests headed for an exciting day on the English River. Our pontoon boat takes you to the portage trail for your 5 minute walk to the river, or all-terrain vehicle ride if that is necessary. Embark in 18’ boats, fully-equipped with backrests, a reliable guide, beverage choices, and everything you’ll need for an unprecedented day’s fishing. Break at noon for a unique and memorable Canadian shore lunch, where you’ll supply the main course, and your guide the preparation, cooking, and serving. After lunch, back on these pristine waters for more action ‘til late afternoon for the return journey to your cabin on Delaney.
Guests fishing Delaney Lake for the day have equal experiences to enjoy. The fishing is good all summer long, and in the fall, terrific! Beautiful crisp days, fantastic foliage, and shallowseeking trout and smallmouth are visible in transparent waters. Skilled fishermen will opt for the challenge of searching out the trophy Muskies and giant Pike that inhabit the Delaney Lake waters (our lake yielded up the Ontario record, a 42 lb. Northern). Wives and older children can share great fishing as well in complete comfort and safety.
